FOR INTRODUCTIONS & INVITATIONS
A little more substance.
Cardstock & finishes
Sturdy card, with a finish to fit your brand.
A good fit for Business cards, invitations and postcards you want people to hold on to.
The print details
Our standard business cards and postcards use 16pt cardstock with a matte finish. Business cards and postcards also offer high-gloss UV coating and 18pt matte or gloss lamination, with selective spot UV over matte lamination. Business cards additionally offer 19pt soft-touch suede lamination, with or without spot UV. Door hangers use 14pt card with a gloss AQ finish. Check the exact specification on your product.
A good fit for Flyers, folded brochures, menus, catalogues and booklets with room for photos and information.
The print details
Our standard flyers, brochures and booklets use 100lb gloss text paper. Brochures are scored before folding. Booklet covers use the same paper as the inside pages. Gloss paper is different from an added gloss lamination.
A good fit for Event banners and retractable displays that make your brand easier to spot.
The print details
Our banners use 13oz matte vinyl. Hanging banners include hems and grommets; pull-up banners include a retractable stand and carrying case. These are separate products with different artwork requirements.
Card holds its shape; text paper bends more easily. Choose card for a substantial hand-held piece and paper for handouts or multiple pages.
Matte or gloss?
Matte has less sheen. Gloss catches more light. A coating, the paper surface and a lamination are different things—your product’s exact specification tells you what is included.
16pt or 100lb?
These use different measuring systems. “pt” describes thickness; “lb” is a paper-weight designation. You can’t compare the numbers directly or use them to predict an exact feel on screen.
Illustrations help explain the formats; they are not colour or texture proofs. Your selected product’s specification is the source for the material and finish you’ll receive.
